Lessons from a MASTER Artist

1. MASTER Artist - Words of Wisdom

I recently had the chance to interview Jake Parker (Creator of Skyheart, Missile Mouse and Inktober) on my podcast and it was quite an enlightening conversation. We talked about a whole range of things from relationships to breaking into the comics industry. Here are some of the few key takeaways from the Podcast: - Marriage is not 50/50 each, it's 100% each. 💯 - How to stay married for 24 years? - Don't force your interests on your partner, allow space, talk and communicate, start young and mold your life together. 💑 - Think of Projects in 3's and 5's - I.e. Do trilogies of projects (comics, videos and books) and If successful - Do 5. 🖐️ - When you crave to start a new project in the midst of a current one - tell yourself "Not Yet" 😌 - Don't fit your creativity into a Content Box to make content for social media, Make something really good and turn that into tiny-pieces of content. 🤯 These were some of the few ideas from the many practical ones he shared. Checkout the whole podcast here 👇

2. Great Character Design

I recently put out a video dissecting the character called 'Death' from Puss in Boots 2 and why its visually appealing. Here's the Episode 🐺
