You don’t have to be masters at it. You just need to know, what you need to know - THE ESSENTIALS. 1. Shapes and Forms 2. Gesture 3. Perspective 4. Light and Shadow 5. Colour Theory 6. Character Design Principles 7. Human Anatomy 8. Composition 9. Story telling.

2. You don't have to be good at everything Pareto's law states that 80% of the Results comes from 20% of the things. The list I mentioned above? you don't have to learn everything thats under each category. Decide the kind of Artist you want to be and know the ESSENTIALS. The 20% that gives you 80% of the results. Learn that and you'll be good.
