Good ol' Fashioned Hard Work

1. Work If you throw 100 darts at the dart board, You are very likely to hit at least 10 in the center. šŸŽÆ On the dot. And that’s the beauty of work. The more you do it, the better the chances of success. šŸŽØ The more drawings and illustrations you do, the better your chances of not only improving your craft, but creating a ā€˜masterpiece’. You land on one purely out of perseverance. šŸŽ£ Success feels more like fishing. You throw in the hook, put the right bait and wait for things to happen. The more time you spend in the water, the better the bait, the more fish you’ll get. (Take this analogy with a grain of salt, I’m no fishing expert)

2. 100 Days of Sketching āœļøHere’s the challenge, 100 days. Draw every day for at least 6 mins. Draw more if you feel like it. If not, call it a day. Finish the challenge. See what happens.

I’m doing this from May 1st. Join me if you’d like on Instagram.

3) Favorite Quote of the Week ā€œDo not believe that he who seeks to comfort you lives untroubled among the simple and quiet words that sometimes do you good. His life has much difficulty and sadness and remains far behind yours. Were it otherwise he would never have been able to find those wordsā€ - Rainer Maria Rilke That's it for this week guys. See you on the next one! Best, Kesh
