Don't Be Cute!

1. How to NOT get distracted and stay FOCUSED.

I often have the itch to start new things.

New drawings, new series, new projects and seasons.

It marks the beginning of something new, but it's reward often ends after the day of starting. Reality sets in and I'd wish I had just kept doing the last thing with a bit more focus.😩

Here's a FRAMEWORK that I got from Alex Hormozi on WHEN to start new things.

It's called BETTER > MORE > NEW

🚀 BETTER - Can you do better on the thing that you already doing?

📈 MORE - Can you do more of what's 'better'?

🤔 NEW - Have you done 'More' of what's 'better'? If no, don't start anything new. If yes, maybe consider starting something new.

Here's a video where he explains this is detail.

2. Cartooning People I've been developing 'Simple Techniques' on cartooning people from life and here are some drawings/ sketches from the development.

My thoughts 💭

👣 Cartooning people is simple if you keep the process simple.

📈 Develop processes that you like and do more/better versions of that.

🧠 Think 'principles' over methods (refer to last week's quote)

If you're struggling with Drawing Heads,

👉 Here's a FREE 'How to Draw Faces' Guidebook which you can use to get better.

3. Favorite Quote of the Week

"Just do the basics. Don't be Cute"

- An anonymous seasoned entrepreneur explaining the importance of DOING the fundamentals.

That's it for this week folks!

See you in the next one :)

Best,

Kesh.
