1. The Soul Tiger

Here’s a breakdown of a recent Animated Illustration that I did. It started with some exploration sketches on how ‘Tigers’ look like. 🐯

And then I landed on one POSE based on what I learned from the sketches.

Did some color Tests…

Then came the inks for which I used a thick ‘Brush Pen’ on procreate.

And then came the flats and Final Colors.

Once I was done with it, I used Pre-made Animated fire assets to bring the drawing to life.

2. How to INK?

I feel one of the highlights of the ‘Soul Tiger Illustration’ is the INKING. And here’s a quick 'how-to' on getting good at inking 🖋️ 1. Watch this INKING GUIDE I’ve made and learn the exercises. 2. Take up a 7 DAY challenge where you make one INK drawing everyday. 3. Do it for 30+ days if you want to get really good. This is all I did to get “good” inking. It’s Simple and straight forward.
