1. Copy your Favourite Idols People idolise certain people because they are attracted to specific qualities that are dormant in themselves that they could potentially harness. Likewise, people are attracted to the works of certain artists because there are certain ‘stylistic qualities' that are dormant in them that they could potentially harness. And this is how you find your voice in art. By walking the paths of your idols, taking the things you like from them and discarding what you don't. And the most practical way to start doing that is ‘Copying’ your idols.
